All prizes of INR 8000 or less can be claimed at any National Lottery retailer present in the country. Anything above this amount but less than INR 12 lakh has a specified list of post offices where they can be claimed. For an amount higher than 12 lakh, the person needs to be present at National Lottery headquarters situated at Abbey Street Lower in Dublin.

How to Claim When You Play Online?


All winning amounts ranging from INR 80 to INR 8000 gets transferred to the player’s online wallet. They can choose to withdraw this money from their wallet by logging in to their account and giving the required instructions of withdrawal online. The same is then sent through a cheque stamped ‘Account Payee Only’ to the specified address in the account of the player.

In case the winning amount is between from INR 8000 and INR 40000, it is sent by cheque to the registered address of the player.

For amounts higher than INR 40,000 and up to 8 lakhs, the lottery officials can contact the player verifying their age and other identification details. The player is then required to file a claim form, and then a cheque is issued.

Any prize above eight lakhs requires the person to be present in person at the National Lottery HQ.
